Toursikon is a narrative adventure conceived for mobile devices, a visual novel with puzzle elements that leads those who play to the discovery of the ancient village of Tursi, in the province of Matera.
An enigmatic presence appears to the protagonist, Sophie, who has been trapped by mistake in the crypt of the church of Santa Maria Maggiore: to be revealed to her is an arcane message to be deciphered.
Thanks to the help of the historian Carmine, Sophie will begin a journey through Tursi to recompose the pieces of this mystery.
Along the way you will come across characteristic characters of the place, who guard the knowledge of the village.
Concatenated environmental puzzles will lead those who play to find a treasure linked to the past and to the tradition of the country.The title of the videogame, which takes up the etymology of the name of Tursi, embodies the cultural and historical multiplicity of the area - which has undergone various dominations - and recalls the concept of "tour", an itinerant journey to discover the local cultural heritage .Toursikon is a video game produced by Elle Viaggi, funded under "The tourist, cultural and creative production chain for the use of the cultural and natural heritage of the Basilicata Region" referred to in the D.G.R.
